InfoComm PIPS Group consults on Projected Image Standards

The InfoComm Projected Image Performance Standard Task Group thanks CEDIA for hosting a standard development meeting at their headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. The purpose of this meeting was to validate the recommended contrast ratio targets for the standard, and to develop a test procedure for field verification. More than five significant concepts have been included that will be further developed through the writing process. Attendees included Task Group Chairman Alan Brawn (CTS, ISF-C) and Jonathan Brawn (CTS, ISF-C) of Brawn Consulting; Ricardo Chen (ISF-C) of Canon; Michael Davis of Texas Instruments DLP; Richard Green (ISF-C), Greg Jeffreys (ISF-C), Christopher Johnson (ISF-C, CTS-D) and John Meehan of Panasonic; David Pedigo (ISF-C) of Cedia; Don Stewart and Grant Stewart of Stewart Filmscreen
